Job summary

Leigh Baxter Associates Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Trade counter assistant for our Southend branch. Training will be provided; no prior experience required, though a mechanical interest helps with hydraulic hose assemblies and counter enquiries.

You’ll serve customers, prepare hose assemblies, pack and dispatch items, manage stock, unload deliveries, and perform general warehouse tasks. Immediate start for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience not necessary; training will be provided, though a mechanical mindset helps.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers at our busy trade counter.
• Making up hydraulic hose assemblies (may be dirty/oily).
• Picking, packing, labeling and loading of goods for delivery.
• Stock checking and restocking goods.
• Unloading deliveries (may involve heavy lifting).
• Other general warehouse duties.

Experience not necessary as training will be given though anyone with mechanical interest will stand out from the crowd as some of our counter enquiries does require a mechanical mindset/interest to solve.
