Job summary

DMN Logistics Ltd in Smethwick is seeking a professional driver to operate a 7.2-ton single deck sleeper cab car transporter with a 3.5t trailer. You will collect, deliver and inspect vehicles across the UK, obtaining customer signatures on loading and delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a C1E licence, a digital tachograph card and Driver CPC. Work is Monday to Friday with occasional nights out. In-house training, modern vehicles, a company mobile phone and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid C1E licence to tow a 3.5t trailer.
• Digital tachograph card and Driver CPC.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to inspect vehicles prior to loading.
• Willing to work Monday to Friday with occasional nights out.

Job description

Due to expansion, DMN Logistics one of the UK’s leading road driven single vehicle collection, delivery, and inspections companies are looking to recruit a professional driver to operate a 7.2-ton, single deck sleeper cab car transporter which tows a 3.5t single car trailer. (2 cars in total)

Main duties will include the safe collection, delivery, and inspection of new/used vehicles from all over the UK.

You will be responsible for inspecting vehicles accurately before loading and obtaining customer signatures upon collection/delivery, so excellent customer services skills are required. A mobile phone will be provided for electronic vehicle inspections/photos using our inhouse system.

You must hold a C1E licence to enable a 3.5t car trailer to be towed behind the 7.2t truck and have a digital tachograph card and current driver CPC.

Operating days are Monday to Friday with nights out being required occasionally.
