Meridian Business Support is recruiting a reliable Yard Operative to join our team in Deeside. The role will involve operating one or more of the following: FLT (Forklift Truck), 360 Excavator, and Loading Shovel, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and efficient yard duties.

Hours are Monday to Friday with a rotating shift: Week 1 6 AM–2 PM, Week 2 2 PM–10 PM. Pay ranges from £14.64 to £18.77 per hour, with overtime at enhanced rates and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard/plant environment is preferred.
• Safety-conscious with a good attitude and reliability.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Operate yard equipment (FLT, excavator, loading shovel) as required.
• Assist with general yard duties and housekeeping.
• Maintain safe working practices and report hazards promptly.

Meridian business support is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team based in Deeside.

Ideally, candidates will have experience operating one or more of the following:

FLT (Forklift Truck)

360 Excavator

Loading Shovel

The ideal candidate will be:

Hours & Shifts

Monday to Friday – weekly shift rotation:

• - Week 1: 6 AM – 2 PM (Morning shift)
• - Week 2: 2 PM – 10 PM (Afternoon shift)

Pay Rate

• - £14.64 per hour for all daily hours worked
• - £13.39 per hour should you not fulfill all daily hours
• - Overtime after 40 hours is £1.00 extra per hour
• - Saturday shift pay rate: £16.27 per hour
• - Sunday and Bank Holiday shift pay rate: £18.77 per hour
