Superdrug is looking for an Apprentice Sales Assistant in Rugby, offering a hands-on, fast-paced role with on-the-job training and a clear progression path to leadership.

You will help customers, keep shelves stocked, and contribute to achieving store targets. Training lasts 12 months in-store, leading to Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship and ongoing support from tutors and the team.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• Available for full-time shifts and not currently in education.
• Brand new to retail and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and promote Star Buys.
• Keep the store stocked and help hit store targets.
• Participate in in-store training and progression opportunities.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you’ll be right at the heart of the action—serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You’ll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It’s a hands‑on, fast‑paced role that’s never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we’ll give you everything you need to grow—with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

What you’ll bring to the role:

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4’s for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
