Job summary

CareTech is recruiting Support Workers to join Hunters Lodge in Rickmansworth. You'll support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs, delivering person-centred care in a friendly service.

We provide full training, a supportive induction, and a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, with opportunities for progression within CareTech's growing group.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

About the Service - Hunters Lodge

Our friendly Hunters Lodge Service in Rickmansworth, Herts provides care and support for individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to have fulfilled lives and gain further independence.

Service User Interests

The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences.

The Role

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
