Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 nurse to oversee daily healthcare services under supervision. The role requires ensuring nursing practice is reflected in the Trust's electronic record system and the ability to respond to emergencies using NEWS 2.

Work with the oversight of a band 6 nurse to oversee the provision of day to day healthcare services as required. Ensure nursing practice is fully reflected in the use of the Trust electronic record system. Attend emergency situations and appropriately use the NEWS 2 assessment tool. Administer medication. Screen all new receptions, transfers and releases. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings. Be able to work in a fast paced complex environment.Please note this post is subject to security vetting.
