Job summary

Rapier Employment are seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client in the Nottingham area. Due to high-value cargo, a DBS check is required before assessment and on-site work. 360 cameras, map­le locks, and panic alarms are in use to enhance security during long trunking runs.

Shifts run Monday to Friday (days 04:00–07:00, nights 00:17:00). Long-term position with 48–55 hours per week; applicants must have 1+ year HGV Class 1 experience, a valid licence, tachograph card, and CPC qualification,

Qualifications

• Experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Must have held HGV Class 1 Licence for at least one year.
• Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate box trailers with bay work and trunking duties.
• Work long shifts; 48–55 hours per week.
• Adhere to driving regulations and safety requirements.

Job description

Rapier Employment are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in the Nottingham area. Due to the high value products on the trailers, a valid DBS check must be obtained prior to commencing any assessment and work on site. Vehicles fitted with maple locks and anti-hijack system. All drivers issued with a panic alarm. 360 cameras inside the cab. Trunking runs as far as Scotland.

START TIMES:

• Monday to Friday
• Days – 0400 - 0700
• Night Shifts: 00-17.00pm

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:

• Box trailers.
• Bay work.
• Long term position.
• 48-55 hours per week.

YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience of Class 1 driving.
• You should have held your HGV Class 1 Licence for at least one year.
• Have at least 6 months experience driving HGV class 1 vehicles.
• No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS.
• Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
