Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting a Parcelforce Collection & Delivery Driver in Newport. This permanent role covers weekend and extended hours with potential overtime, starting salary £25,201 per year plus weekend premiums.

You'll sort parcels, plan routes, perform safety checks, and deliver to homes and businesses while providing friendly, reliable service. The package includes pension, holiday, medical cover, uniform and access to My Bundle+.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence Cat B with up to 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg.
• Reliable, customer focused and a great team player.

• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What you’ll be doing

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What we’re looking for

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
