Job summary

The University of Liverpool is seeking an Assistant Gardener to join a high-performing team responsible for the green spaces across Ness Gardens and the Liverpool city campus.

You will work 35 hours per week full-time, reporting to the Head Gardener, helping with landscape maintenance and horticultural development to provide a high-quality environment for students, staff and visitors. Spanning 100 acres, the University’s city campus sits within Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter and comprises teaching spaces, student residences, administrative buildings, and research facilities, set alongside a mix of hard and soft landscaped areas.

The University of Liverpool is seeking a skilled individual to join a high-performing team, maintaining the green spaces across the Liverpool city campus. Reporting to the Head Gardener (Liverpool Campuses), you will play a key role in horticultural development and landscape maintenance, ensuring a high-quality environment and visitor experience for students, staff and stakeholders.
