Fancy a job where no two days look the same? Want to end your shift knowing you actually made someone’s day better?
Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We’re looking for Support Workers to join our CQC Outstanding service in Margate. These are permanent roles paying £25,350 a year (£13.00 per hour) for 37.5 hours a week, with various shift patterns available including full time, part time and weekends only.
Life here is busy and firmly rooted in the local community. Think relaxed afternoons by the beach, day trips to Canterbury, theme parks and London, swimming sessions, social evenings and nights out at local clubs. The people we support also volunteer at a community church, work in charity shops and get stuck into gardening, and you’ll be right alongside them. Even in the quieter winter months there’s plenty going on, from cooking and baking to hands‑on experiments that get everyone involved.
You don’t need previous experience. We’ll give you full training. What matters far more is your attitude, your warmth and your willingness to get involved.
“I feel so privileged to have this job and would love other people to have the same chance as me. I wouldn’t have applied as I considered myself inexperienced and underqualified, however I’m so pleased I took the plunge. I work with an amazingly supportive team and support amazing people. Job satisfaction 100%.” (Support Worker)
