Job summary

Bupa is seeking an experienced GP to deliver primary care consultations and health assessments across its UK Health Clinics. You will join a nationwide network of GP colleagues delivering services beyond insurance customers, with a focus on high-quality care and autonomy in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • GMC GP Registration is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Adult and Children Safeguarding Level 3 training.
  • Member of a Medical Defence Organisation.
  • Excellent time management and flexibility.
  • Experience in general practice with sound clinical decision-making.
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Office, e-records and e-prescribing.
  • Engages in CPD activities in line with appraisal and revalidation.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering face-to-face private GP consultations and health assessments.
  • Undertaking clinical work to good clinical practice standards.
  • Attending clinical meetings and training sessions.
  • Participating in annual clinical reviews and competency assessments.
  • Contributing to quality improvement activities with audits.
  • Providing clinical guidance to colleagues including health advisors.

You will deliver primary care consultations and health assessments to customers of Bupa Health Clinics, ensuring a high-quality service which delivers high customer satisfaction. We have a network of dedicated Bupa Health Clinics across the UK (which have superb CQC reports), and you will be joining a community of over 200 GP's delivering services and treatments to everyone - not just those with health insurance.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:
  • Delivering face to face health assessments and private GP consultations.
  • Undertaking clinical work in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice.
  • Attending and participating in clinical meetings / training sessions as required.
  • Participating in an annual clinical review and competency assessments within Bupa.
  • Working with the Lead Physician on quality improvement activities including audits.
  • Providing clinical advice and guidance to colleagues, which may include health advisors and administrative staff.
