Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse in Manchester is seeking a customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our store team. You will interact with customers, assist with product selection, and support stock replenishment and merchandising across the shop floor.

The role involves light manual handling and operating, where required, specialist equipment such as sawmilling or paint mixing tools, with reasonable adjustments available. This is a part-time position with contracted hours of 22.5 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service during customer interactions.
• Operate specialist equipment such as sawmill, paint mixers and forklifts as required.
• Perform manual handling with reasonable adjustments if needed.
• Merchandise stock displays and replenish shelves across the store.
