Summary

Millison Chase is recruiting 7 HGV Class 1 C+E Day Drivers in Avonmouth, Bristol for a new ongoing retail distribution contract with a major nationwide transport company.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers, C+E Drivers and LGV Class 1 Drivers looking for regular day driving work in Avonmouth and Bristol, with a consistent 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, £19.00 per hour PAYE and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

The HGV Class 1 driving work involves retail store deliveries from an Avonmouth depot, completing a maximum of 2 drops per day shift. Deliveries are predominantly straightforward bay deliveries with minimal handball.

Drivers will be responsible for completing daily HGV vehicle and trailer checks, checking load security and ensuring all internal trailer straps are correctly secured before departure.
