Job summary

Beaverbrook in Leatherhead seeks a competent Maintenance Engineer to join our small, yet growing team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will manage building systems and respond to mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues on site.

This hands-on role requires weekend shifts and on-call availability. You will uphold Health & Safety procedures and keep workshops and plant rooms clean, while assisting external trades to complete works as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building systems and respond to mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues.
• Conduct basic carpentry, decorating and handyman tasks as required.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and workshops and plant rooms are kept clean and tidy.
• Work regular weekends and be available for on-call duties.
• Assist external trades to complete works when needed.

Job description

We are looking for a competent Maintenance Engineer to join our small, yet growing team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering you will be responsible for any building related matters, whilst on shift. This will include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, basic carpentry, minor decorating plus general handyman tasks. This is an active hands-on role with the requirement to work regular weekends and be available to work on-call.

You will actively take ownership of ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed, all workshops, plantroom and places of work are always kept clean and tidy. You will assist external trades as required in order for any works to be completed.
