Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is helping a UK-wide Recovery Business recruit Roadside Vehicle Technicians to join their team in Lancaster and surrounding areas.

You will respond to roadside breakdowns, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and perform essential vehicle repairs on the spot, with a base salary of £36,400 and uncapped OTE up to £60,000 a year. You will be supported by a skilled technical team, receive ongoing training, and benefit from healthcare and a fully equipped vehicle.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• Customer-centric approach is essential.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work various shifts, including weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside breakdowns and diagnose faults on vehicles.
• Carry out electrical and diagnostic tasks and perform repairs as needed.
• Work across shifts, including weekends, to support breakdown coverage.

We are currently working with a UK Wide Recovery Business who are seeking Roadside Vehicle Technicians to join their team.

Location:

• Lancaster and Surrounding Areas

Salary:

• £36,400 basic salary, with OTE of up to £60,000 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to bolster their experience without the humdrum of working in a garage environment. The working day for the Roadside Vehicle Technician will start from the moment you leave your own driveway and end when you return, meaning you get paid for your daily commute!

We are looking to hear from Vehicle Technicians who are experienced in Technical, electrical and diagnostics. Due to the nature of this Roadside Vehicle Technician role, you will see a diverse range of breakdowns and technical issues, so it is essential that you are clued up on these elements.

What is needed:

• A Full UK Driving Licence
• Anything upwards from a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• A customer centric approach.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work various shifts, including weekends if required
