Proven experience as a
Head Chef (experience within a nursing home, care home, or healthcare setting highly desirable).
Strong knowledge of
nutrition, hydration, food textures, and specialist diets.
A recognised
Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 or above preferred).
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt menus to meet individual needs.
Genuine passion for creating delicious, nourishing meals that enhance wellbeing.
Competitive salary of up to £34,320 per year.
40 hours per week, with paid breaks.

Plan, prepare, and cook menus with consideration for dietary requirements, food textures, allergies, and cultural preferences.
Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest standards of flavour, nutrition, and presentation.
Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards in line with regulations.
Manage stock levels, budgets, and suppliers effectively.
Support and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
