Commercial Vehicle Examiner (Enforcement) - National

Please note: The Glasgow post will be based in Bishopbriggs. The Worthing post will be based in Lancing. The Birmingham post will be based in Garretts Green.

As a Commercial Vehicle Examiner, your work helps keep Britain’s roads safe. You will inspect commercial vehicles, identify defects, take appropriate enforcement action and provide clear technical advice to drivers, operators and colleagues.

Joining DVSA also gives you access to a wide range of Civil Service benefits, including:

  • Employer pension contribution of 28.97% of your salary. Read more about Civil Service Pensionshere
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day each year of service (up to a maximum of 30 days annual leave), plus 8 bank holidays a privilege day for the King’s birthday
