Job summary

Search Consultancy are recruiting a Marketing Assistant for a Kirkcaldy client. The role is a 6‑month temp contract with potential for extension or permanency, based on performance. It is hybrid with flexible working, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, paying up to £18.00 per hour plus holiday pay.

You will support the Campaign & Strategy Manager, develop campaigns, manage content across digital and print, and collaborate with external agencies while maintaining our brand tone and consistency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of digital marketing tools incl. SEO and Google Analytics.
• Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage a busy workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Solid IT skills including the MS Office suite and familiarity with Adobe/Canva.

Responsibilities

• Support Campaign & Strategy Manager with development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders including promoters, artists, agencies, and vendors.
• Create and edit written copy and various visual content for print and digital using Adobe Suite and Canva.
• Distribute brochures, posters, and leaflets effectively and coordinate with designers, agencies, and printers.
• Maintain company social media and digital accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube).
• Manage content on the company website and support SEO efforts.
• Ensure content aligns with brand tone and branding across activities.

Pay rate up to £18.00 per hour + holiday pay (depending on experience)

Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with one of our long-standing clients based in Kirkcaldy to recruit this temp role initially on a 6 month contract - although it's expected this role will be ongoing & has potential to become permanent.

Duties involved in this role will include:

• Supporting the Campaign & Strategy Manager with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns
• Developing & maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external parties relating to marketing activities including promoters, artists, external agencies, digital media and vendors
• Creating and editing written copy & creating a variety of visual content (photography, graphic & video) for both print & digital platforms using Adobe Suite & Canva
• Ensuring that brochures, posters & leaflets are distributed effectively
• Working closely with external designers, agencies & printers
• Ensuring that all content produced is in line with the company's agreed "tone" and branding - ensuring consistency across activities
• Maintaining the company's social media & digital accounts including Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube
• Management of content on the company's website, ensuring that it is updated and reviewed on a daily basis
• Supporting with Search Engine management including optimisation (SEO)
• Various other marketing duties as & when required

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

• Previous hands-on Marketing experience across print & digital - this experience is

ESSENTIAL

• Knowledge of and experience of using digital marketing tools & strategies including SEO and Google Analytics
• First class planning & organisation skills with the ability to organise, prioritise and complete a busy workload effectively - as well as the ability to pivot your focus when required and work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Solid IT Skills including the full MS Office suite & prior experience using creative tools such as Adobe and Canva
