Clarendon Home Care Ltd in Kingston upon Thames is hiring a Part-Time Home Care Assistant (Driving) for evening and weekend shifts. You will visit clients in their own homes to assist with personal care, meals, medications, and companionship, with local rounds within a few miles of your home.

A valid UK driving licence is required with access to your own vehicle; full induction training and ongoing support are provided, along with paid travel and a DBS check.

Evening shifts 4pm to 10pm and weekends 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm - 10pm. We are happy to discuss which shift pattern suits you.

£12.71 per hour plus travel, £13.00per hour plus travel on weekends

We have been caring for people in their own homes across Kingston and Surrey for over 30 years. We are a small, established team - not a national agency - and that makes a real difference to how we work.

WHAT THIS JOB ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE

You will visit clients in their own homes, helping with personal care, medication, meals and companionship. Your rounds will be local - within a few miles of where you live - and you will build genuine, lasting relationships with the same clients week after week.

We have morning shifts (7am–2pm) and evening shifts (4pm–10pm) available. Whether you prefer mornings or evenings, or can cover both, we will work with you to find a pattern that suits. Every second weekend is part of the role.

This is not zero-hours agency work. We offer consistent hours, local rounds and the kind of continuity that makes the job rewarding.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• The right to work in the UK - please confirm you hold a UK or Irish passport, a biometric residence permit showing indefinite leave to remain or settled status, or pre-settled status with proof of right to work. Applications without this cannot be progressed.
• Compassion, reliability and the ability to work independently
• Previous care experience is welcome but not essential - we provide full training
• Availability for morning shifts (7am–2pm), evening shifts (4pm–10pm), or both, and every second weekend
