Salutem Care and Education is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Kent/UK to provide daily support for adults in residential services. The role involves working across days, nights, and flexible shifts including sleep-ins, with driving licence and car desirable.
You will deliver person-centred care, promote independence, and follow care plans while safeguarding individuals and maintaining detailed records. A DBS check and ongoing professional development are part of the role.
Southleigh is a 14-bed residential care home in Kettering supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities. We provide a high level of support to enable all the people we support to meet their personal goals and future aspirations!
We are all very well supported at Southleigh and none of our efforts go unnoticed. We understand what’s important and always try our best to help the individuals live their best lives! No two days are the same, one day we’re partaking in a family event or party and the next we’re out window shopping and sightseeing! There is huge variety in the role and lots to learn with lots of opportunity to develop new and existing skills. We all work very hard with one goal in mind and that’s to support the individuals to do whatever it is they wish!

Each day will be different, and the main focus of your role is to provide daily support to adults in our residential services. It’s definitely not a normal 9-5, you can work days, nights, and flexible shifts too. Talking of ‘dream’ jobs, some of our shifts are sleep-ins!
