Job summary

ATA Sameday is seeking self-employed delivery drivers to cover routes from our Hayes depot (UB3). Start at 7:45 AM, collect your route, and deliver parcels with a focus on customer service throughout your day.

You can use your own electric van or rent one through our partner for £230 per week, including VAT, insurance and servicing. Earn £130–£159 per day, plus £0.20 per business mile, with weekly payments in arrears.

Qualifications

• Be 25 years or older (insurance requirement).
• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no unspent convictions.
• Self-employed role with responsibility for Tax and National Insurance.
• Compliance with Alcohol & Drug Testing Policy.

What You'll Earn

Vehicle Options

Your Working Day

• Start from 7:45 AM
• Collect your route from our Hayes (UB3) depot
• Deliver parcels across your assigned delivery area
• Typical route duration of up to 9.5 hours
• Work independently while delivering excellent customer service

What You'll Need

• Be 25 years or older due to insurance purposes.
• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Have no more than 6 penalty points (no serious endorsements)
• Have no unspent criminal convictions
• Be reliable, professional, and customer-focused
• This is a self-employed role, so you'll be responsible for managing your own Tax and National Insurance contributions.
• As part of our commitment to safety, all drivers are subject to random alcohol and drug testing, and full compliance with our Alcohol & Drug Testing Policy is required.

Payment Schedule

Your first payment will be made two weeks after your first completed week of work. After that, you'll be paid weekly, with payments always remaining two weeks in arrears.
