Job summary

Fawkes & Reece in the Hailsham area is seeking a site Labourer to join a reputable national contractor delivering education, commercial and residential refurbishments.

You will assist with site clearance, move materials and help prepare finished houses for handover, while supporting trades as needed. CSCS card is required and safety is a priority on site. The position pays £16–£17 per hour and is offered as a temporary full-time role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Labouring position.
• CSCS Card required.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and able to work as a point of contact in a standalone role.

Responsibilities

The company:

A well established national contractor that works on a range of projects from education, commercial, residential and internal refurbishments.

The role:

As the site Labourer you will be responsible for assisting with site clearance, moving materials, cleaning various areas including finished houses for handover and assisting traders where needed.

About you:

• Ideally you will have previous working experience in a labouring position. You will be comfortable lifting and shifting materials throughout the day.
• If asked you will be happy working on the gate.
• You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.
• You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
