Job summary

Futuristic Technologies Ltd is seeking a Full-time QA Analyst in London who will perform manual, automated, and performance testing within an Agile/Scrum setting. The role involves contributing to test strategy, automation framework design, and continuous integration with automated tests for each build.

Ideal candidates will translate requirements into test artefacts, coordinate QA activities, and provide quality insights throughout the development lifecycle in a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual, automation and performance testing within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• System analysis/integration testing and UAT; assist the team, BA and business in defining test scope across the SDLC.
• Proven line management of other QA personnel.
• Understand QA industry-standard tools and approaches and implement within SCRUM teams.
• Translate project requirements into technical test specifications and artifacts.
• Coordinate team roles, responsibilities and work assignments.
• Collaborate with defect management and development teams.
• Create daily status/defect reports for stakeholders.
• Work with development to create a CI environment with automated tests for each build.
• Identify automation requirements and develop regression packs for web apps.
• Design and build the automation framework.
• Assess automation environment needs and report to Test Manager.
• Provide automation metrics to support quality reports.
• Develop a comprehensive test strategy for performance testing; design and execute stress/load tests using Load Runner.
• Identify problem sources and propose solutions to developers.
• Attend scrum standups, sprint planning and estimation meetings.

The ideal candidate will participate in all aspects of Futuristic Technologies Ltd current projects. Primary responsibilities include performing a variety of tasks related to performance testing, automation and to provide quality insights throughout the development lifecycle.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• System analysis/Integration test and UAT, fully capable of assisting and supporting the team, BA and business in defining the scope for test requirements across the SDLC.
• Proven line management of other QA's.
• Understanding of QA Industry standard tools and approaches, ability to implement within your SCRUM team(s)
• Translating the project/product requirements into technical specifications and developing the test artefacts.
• Team Coordination within a team to Maintained Team Roles, Responsibilities, Work Assignments.
• Work closely with defect management and development teams.
• Create daily status/defect reports for the project stakeholders.
• Work closely with the development team to create a continuous integration environment running automated tests for each build.
• Identify automation requirements and create regression packs for Web applications.
• Design and create the automation framework.
• Assess automation environment requirements for each project and provide information to the Test Manager in a timely manner.
• Provide automation metrics to support and feed into test and quality reports.
• Should be able to create comprehensive test strategy for performance testing needs. Design and execute stress and load testing using Load Runner for critical business flows and applications.
• Identifying the source of problems and proposing solutions to the development team.
• Attend scrum stand ups, sprint planning, task estimation meetings with the Development Team.
