McCarthy Stone is seeking passionate Mobile Care Assistants to join our care team in and around Epsom. A valid full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, with travel between developments and mileage paid.
This part-time, mobile role combines personal care and domestic support, enabling you to help older homeowners live well in our retirement developments. We offer training, a probation bonus, and opportunities for progression.

Receive a £300 bonus when you pass probation.
£14.50 per hour, plus earn up to an additional £1.30 for working evening and weekend hours.
Hours: Part time hours available per week. On a rota basis that will include mornings, evenings and alternate weekends anytime between 7am to 10pm.

Mobile Care Assistant and play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our homeowners in our beautiful purpose built developments.
This is a dual role consisting of Personal Care and Domestic Services. You’ll work closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers and Care Performance Manager to deliver personal bespoke care and lifestyle services. This could be from assisting with personal care, household tasks to offering companionship and supporting wellbeing activities. There is the expectation to ensure communal areas are cleaned regularly too.
This is a mobile field-based role to grow our care service so there is a requirement to travel between our developments and parking will be available at each site.
Support Individual Homeowners: To provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance. You will also offer domestic support, such as cleaning, shopping, and managing household tasks.
Domestic: Maintain communal areas within our developments to a high standard, ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for all homeowners.
Social Support: To assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements, and attending appointments, enhancing their overall well-being and social connections.
Skills & Experience: Ideally you will have previous experience in a care environment. However, this is not essential as we can provide full training for anyone looking for a career change. You must have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to manage your time effectively.
Driving Licence: This is a field-based role, so a valid full UK driving licence is required, along with a willingness to travel between developments.
Flexibility: The ability to work on a rota basis that will include early mornings, lates and alternate weekends.
Travel Expenses Covered: Use your personal car for work with all travel expenses fully reimbursed and parking available on site. Mileage is paid at 43p per mile.
