Job summary

As a Sous Chef at the Horseshoes, Mitchells & Butlers PLC, you’ll lead a section and motivate your team to deliver great food while upholding brand standards. You will step up in the absence of the Head Chef and guide the team through busy service with energy, precision and a collaborative approach.

You’ll manage food ordering, preparation and stock control, train your chefs, ensure compliance with health and hygiene rules, work with a branded menu, and help create a welcoming guest experience

• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
