Job summary

Burch Recruitment is hiring experienced White Goods Installers for a role based in Luton. You will join a two-person delivery and installation crew, delivering appliances directly into customers' homes and ensuring all installations are performed safely and professionally.

Responsibilities include unloading, unpacking, connecting various appliances, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Both full-time and part-time options exist, with up to 6 days per week possible.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established delivery and installation company looking for experienced White Goods Installers to join its growing operation in Luton.

This is a hands‑on role working as part of a two‑person delivery and installation crew, delivering directly into customers' homes and making sure every appliance is installed safely, correctly and professionally.

THE ROLE

• Delivering white goods directly to customers' homes
• Carrying appliances safely to the customer's room of choice
• Unpacking and positioning appliances
• Completing full installations
• Connecting washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators and other appliances
• Checking installations are completed safely and correctly
• Providing a professional and friendly customer experience
• Working alongside your crew partner to complete your daily route

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous white goods installation experience
• Confidence using basic hand tools including drills, screwdrivers and wrenches
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• The ability to safely lift and manoeuvre heavy appliances
• Reliability and punctuality
• A professional attitude when working in customers' homes
• Flexibility to work as part of a 7‑day operation

Home delivery experience is preferred but not essential.

HOURS & PAY

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Typical shift: Approximately 9 hours

Start times: Between 07:00 and 09:00, depending on operational requirements.

Both full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available, with the potential to work up to 6 days per week, including weekends, depending on operational demand.

WEEKLY PAYMENTS*

There is an initial two‑week payment holdback when you start. After this, payments are made weekly, maintaining a two‑week delay between work completed and payment received.
