New Appointments Group Ltd in Cranbrook is seeking an experienced HGV/LGV Driver. The role involves local and long-distance deliveries, vehicle checks, loading/unloading, and ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently. You will work both independently and as part of a team.
Applicants should have a valid UK HGV/LGV licence, experience with rigid and articulated vehicles, and a good understanding of the Highway Code. The role may require evenings, weekends, and nights away.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV / LGV Driver to join a busy transport and logistics operation. This is a varied role involving local and long-distance deliveries, vehicle checks, loading and unloading, and ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, so we are looking for a reliable, self-motivated and safety-conscious driver who takes pride in completing deliveries on time and maintaining high standards.

The role may involve long-distance driving, nights away from home, evening and weekend cover, and manual handling of goods. Flexibility is therefore important.
When driving duties are not available, you will be expected to assist with general depot and operational duties.
Successful applicants will require Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC). The successful applicant will be subject to Disclosure checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
