Job summary

Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking a Catering Assistant for Y Bont Faen Primary. The role is 17.5 hours per week, term time only, on-site in Cowbridge.

You will set up the dining hall, serve meals, wash up and clear away equipment with an Enhanced DBS check required. A team-driven, supportive working environment is provided.

The Big Fresh Catering Company provides healthy nutritious school meals at lunchtime, which is compliant with the Food and Nutrient standards set by the Welsh Government’s Healthy Eating in Schools (Nutritional Standards and Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2013. In addition to this, we also provide a high quality Buffet/Function service to our schools, Café at the Penarth Pier Pavilion, weddings, external customers and companies.
