Royal Mail is hiring a Cleaner at Cookstown Delivery Office, BT80 8AB. The role is part-time (6.25 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 11.30am–12.45pm, on a fixed-term 3‑month basis with potential for permanency.

You’ll receive training and play a key part in keeping spaces clean, safe and welcoming for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• No prior cleaning experience required, on‑the‑job training provided.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including:

• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
• Litter picking within yard and car park areasThis is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling, but don’t worry—we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable, and self‑motivated
• Able to work independently and manage their own time
• Comfortable communicating with customers and managers
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safetyPrevious cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
