Job summary

Greggs is seeking a Shift Manager in Cambridge to run the shop in the manager's absence, guiding the team to deliver great service and uphold standards. You will oversee food preparation, oven management, and shift execution to ensure a smooth operation.

You will also manage displays, cleanliness, and speed of service across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru channels to create a brilliant customer experience.

Salary: £14.00 per hour which includes a 20p per hour band increment.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first. As part of the management team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn’t around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click+Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us – whether they order in store or order their food online. While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:
