Medequip Assistive Technology Limited is seeking a Warehouse and Cleaning Operative for our Calne depot. You will load and unload deliveries, decontaminate medical devices, and ensure goods in/out are accurately tracked using barcode scanners.
You will also perform PAT testing and LOLER checks, working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high service standards. This is a full-time, on-site role with permanent employment in Calne.
As the Warehouse and Cleaning Operative for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the success of your depot. You will do this by ensuring that all tasks are undertaken and completed to the highest of standards, enabling the depot to deliver the highest possible service to our clients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Loading and unloading our delivery vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.
- Decontamination and cleaning of medical devices and equipment.
- Ensuring that ‘goods in and out’ are accounted for utilising the barcode system scanners.
- Pick and quality assure that day’s delivery workload.
- Delivering service with empathy and care. Although this role may not be directly customer facing, you will be an integral member for the Medequip Team, and have a duty of care to our service users.
- Working well independently and as part of a team.
- Carrying out PAT testing and LOLER checking
- Sometimes will be required to carry out general repair tasks withing your depot
