Job summary

Gi Group is seeking a reliable van driver for ongoing work delivering to residential addresses in Burton-on-Trent. The role is full-time with shifts 12:00–20:00, 5 days from 7.

You will provide excellent customer service, perform vehicle checks, and ensure the van is safe for daily deliveries in all weather conditions. DBS check is required before start date and a valid UK Cat B licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Cat B driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements).
• DBS check required before start date.
• Outdoors role delivering post in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Safety-focused approach to deliveries.

Pay: £15.34 / hour including advanced holiday pay, (Weekly Pay, PAYE Only)

Gi Group are looking for reliable and motivated van drivers for ongoing work with a carrier company based in Burton-On-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ongoing role delivering to residential addresses.

Your Responsibilities as a Van Driver:

• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism during deliveries
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure the van is in safe working order.

What You'll Need as a Van Driver:

• A valid UK, in-date Category B (car) license
• No more than 6 SP penalty points accepted (no BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements)
• DBS check required before start date
• Happy being outdoors and deliver post in all weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Good customer service skills and a safety-focused approach
