Job summary

Overclean Ltd is seeking an Indoor Air Quality Technician to join its expanding service team and help deliver essential ventilation services across the country.

You will travel throughout the UK in a company van, installing and cleaning air filters, testing air quality, and conducting site surveys. Full training plus NVQ Level 2 progression is provided. DBS checks are required for work on schools and care facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be practical and mechanically inclined.
• Aptitude to learn new techniques and processes.
• Team player with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and clean air filters in ventilation systems.
• Remove exhausted filters and perform air quality testing.
• Carry out site surveys and report any defects including testing and maintenance of fire dampers.
• Work in teams of two and travel to sites across the UK.

Overclean Ltd (based in Devon) is experiencing huge growth and looking for Ventilation Maintenance Technicians to join our expanding Service Team.

As a Ventilation Maintenance Technician, you will spend your day installing/cleaning air filters and removing exhausted air filters from ventilation systems, air testing, carrying out site surveys and reporting any defects including the testing, inspection and maintenance of Fire Dampers.

Full training will be provided with opportunities to achieve NVQ Level 2, followed by ongoing support, we are looking for people who are practical, mechanically minded and with an aptitude to learn, whilst working as a team.

Working in teams of two you will be working at sites all across the UK, a company van is provided and the work involves travel to areas throughout the country, expenses are covered including hotel accommodation, fuel and a generous working away allowance.

A full clean driving license is desirable.

Each day is a new experience as we work in a wide variety of locations providing vital services to hospitals and the healthcare sector, to gyms, law courts, commercial stores and hotel chains within the leisure industry and various high-profile large-scale sites throughout the UK.

All successful candidates will be DBS checked to be able to carry out works on schools and care homes etc.
