Job summary

Wilcock Consulting is urgently seeking COMPEX-certified Instrument Technicians to support on-site teams at Beattock and Brighouse Compressor Stations in Scotland. Work blocks are typically 2–3 weeks with potential to extend for backlog clearance and additional projects.

Responsibilities include turbine and compressor calibrations, and assisting SGN site technicians with daily calibrations. Rates and PAYE/Ltd Co status to be provided with CV and COMPEX certificate.

Qualifications

Wilcock Consultants is currently looking for COMPEX-certified Instrument Technicians to support existing onsite teams with routine maintenance activities at the Brighouse Bay and Beattock Compressor Stations in Scotland.

The work is initially planned as 2 to 3-week assignments across the two sites, with the potential for further opportunities to assist with clearing project backlogs.

Overview of the role:

Our client requires COMPEX Instrument technician to assist with routine maintenance at both Beattock and Brighouse Compressor Stations due to other workloads.

Daily Duties:

• Turbine/Compressor calibrations and site header calibrations.


• Daily assist SGN site technicians with calibrations


• Looking to hire Instrument technicians in 2027 due to their projects but looking for small blocks of work.

Salary: Please submit rate expectations and pay status (PAYE or Ltd co) with CV & COMPEX certificate

Duration 2-3 weeks across variable assignments

Location Brighouse Bay and Beattock Compressor Stations in Scotland.
