Thames Water is hiring a Mechanical & Electrical Technician based in Bourne End. You will perform planned maintenance on pumps, control gear, motors and PLCs, troubleshoot faults, and provide technical guidance while supporting trainees.
A multi-skilled electrical/mechanical background and a valid driving license are essential. You will join a company offering a robust benefits package and opportunities for standby duties and overtime earnings following training.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Technician to be based at our water production site in Bourne End, SL8 5NT.
38 Hours, Monday- Friday 7:30 am - 3:36 pm plus Standby rota payments & Overtime opportunities can increase the earning potential by up to a further £8,000-£10,000 per annum upon completion of essential company training.
All PPE, tools, plus the provision of a Van when on duty and on call.
You must have previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering, with an upskill in mechanical NVQ2/3 is crucial.
