Job summary

Superdrug is offering an Apprentice Sales Assistant position in Belper, England. This hands-on, full-time role is 39 hours per week, with in-store training over 12 months to achieve Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

You’ll serve customers, promote Star Buys, and help keep the store well stocked and targets on track. We’re looking for people passionate about health and beauty, eager to learn, flexible, and eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C (or equivalent) required.
• Available for full-time shifts and eligible to work in the UK.
• Brand new to retail and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and highlight Star Buys.
• Keep the store well stocked and visually appealing; help meet targets.
• Participate in hands-on training toward the Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you’ll be right at the heart of the action—serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You’ll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It’s a hands‑on, fast-paced role that’s never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we’ll give you everything you need to grow—with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

What you’ll bring to the role:

Passionate about health & beauty and customer service

Desire to learn and improve your knowledge/skills

Flexible in working hours and adaptable to change

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4’s for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
