Job summary

British Red Cross is seeking a First Aid Trainer for a permanent, field-based role in the Belfast area. The position involves delivering first aid and specialist courses to equip participants with essential life-saving skills, teaching the correct actions in emergencies, and building confidence to provide lifesaving support.

Attending training venues across Belfast and surroundings is a core part of the job.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license (minimum 2 years) and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Teaching the right action to take in different situations, for example when people may be unresponsive or have suffered burns.
• Supporting people with their confidence to provide potentially lifesaving support in an emergency.

First Aid Trainer

Location: Belfast Area (within 50-mile radius)

Hours: 35 per week excluding travel (occasional evenings)

Contract: Permanent

Additional Requirement: Applicants must have a full UK licence (2 years) and access to a vehicle
