Job summary

UK Greetings Ltd is seeking a permanent part-time Merchandiser to service local retailers in and around Basildon. The role involves visiting shops, tidying and replenishing greeting card displays, unpacking deliveries and installing new displays.

This on-site position requires a proactive, customer-facing approach and offers holiday entitlement and benefits under the employer scheme. Hours are 6.83 per week on Mondays and Fridays, with a starting pay rate from £13.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising experience preferred
• Ability to visit local retailers and high street outlets
• Experience with greeting card displays and gift dressing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Visiting local retailers, high street chains or supermarkets
• Tidying & filling greeting card & gift dressing displays
• Locating & unpacking deliveries for replenishment of displays
• Installation of new displays
• No cold calling or direct selling is involved
• You will be the local face of UK Greetings, ensuring displays are first class and up to standard
• Recognising new sales opportunities and showcasing new ranges

Summary
