Job summary

Tesco Colleague role in the Barnstaple area requires early shifts starting at 04:30 and ending by 12:00, with a guaranteed minimum of 12 hours per week. You will support customers, handle checkout, shelf replenishment, online orders, and general store duties as part of an inclusive team.

Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
