Job summary

Sirona Medical Limited is recruiting experienced Theatre Nurses and ODPs to join Aberdeen theatre teams supporting General, Gynaecology and ENT lists. You will work with surgeons, anaesthetists and other theatre staff to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care throughout the surgical pathway.

Ideal candidates hold NMC (nurses) or HCPC (ODP) registration, possess recent theatre experience, and can work within a multidisciplinary team while adhering to safety protocols andPVG requirements for

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration for Registered Nurses or HCPC registration for ODPs.
• Recent theatre experience in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong patient safety and infection control understanding.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support General Surgery, Gynaecology and ENT lists as part of the theatre team.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and ODPs to ensure patient safety.
• Provide scrub, recovery and pre/post-operative patient care as required.
• Work flexibly across different theatre specialties and shifts.

Theatre Nursing Team – Aberdeen General | Gynaecology | ENT Theatre Lists

Sirona Medical is currently recruiting experienced Theatre Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) to join 4 full theatre teams supporting scheduled operating lists across Aberdeen.

We are looking for reliable, experienced theatre professionals who can work as part of a complete multidisciplinary theatre team and confidently support General, Gynaecology and ENT lists.

The Role as part of the Sirona Medical theatre team, you will work alongside surgeons, anaesthetists, ODPs, nurses and other theatre professionals to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality patient care throughout the surgical pathway.

We are looking for staff who are experienced in one or more of the following areas:

• - General Surgery
• - Gynaecology
• - ENT
• - Scrub
• - Recovery
• - Pre-operative and post-operative patient care

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidates will have:

• - Current NMC registration for Registered Nurses or relevant HCPC registration for ODPs
• - Recent and relevant theatre experience
• - Experience working within a multidisciplinary operating theatre team
• - A strong understanding of patient safety, infection prevention and theatre procedures
• - The ability to work effectively under pressure
• - Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• - A professional, reliable and flexible approach
• - The right to work in the UK
• - A valid PVG membership/check, or be willing to undergo the required PVG process, as required for working in Scotland
