To carry out reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, undertake small installation works and respond to site engineering emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all electrical and mechanical systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
- Carry out reactive repairs on all systems as required, calling relevant sub‑contractors as necessary.
- Ensure weekly equipment reports are updated with any change in status of equipment.
- Liaise with sub‑contractors for repairs and quotations, monitoring performance of sub‑contractor personnel and ensuring works have been undertaken correctly and area left in satisfactory condition.
- Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via PDA in line with client policies and procedures in a timely manner.
- Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with client representative and client personnel.
- Ensure a safe & healthy working environment and compliance with all company and client site policies and procedures.
- Maintain site logs and associated paperwork accurately.
- Be involved in call‑out rota if applicable.
- Understand and maintain all systems on site.
- Liaise and work with other trade engineers to ensure electrical issues on all systems are attended to and resolved within SLA agreements.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements
- Good basic education essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
- Recognised Electrical Qualification.
- Cooper & Green (C&G) 18th Edition in Electrical Installations.
- C&G Test and Inspection certification.
Knowledge
- Good knowledge of various building electrical systems and working to planned preventive maintenance regimes.
- Current and relative knowledge of BS codes in relation to electrical systems on site (Emerg ltg/Fire alarm/power/BMS etc.).
Experience
- Experience of working with business‑critical equipment.
- Experience working within a customer‑focused role.
- Previous experience within a health and safety‑led role.
- Experience of electrical systems management and paperwork.
