Overview

Reactive Maintenance CoordinatorLocation: Bromley – Salary: £26,000 £30,000 DOE

Hill McGlynn Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established property maintenance contractor to recruit a Reactive Maintenance Coordinator, based out of their busy Bromley office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, coordinating a high volume of reactive maintenance jobs across multiple trades and property types.

Responsibilities
  • Logging and scheduling reactive maintenance call-outs for domestic and commercial properties
  • Allocating jobs to engineers including Gas Engineers, Plumbers, Electricians, Roofers, and AC/HVAC Engineers
  • Responding to emergency call-outs and prioritising urgent repairs
  • Coordinating daily workloads and ensuring SLAs and client expectations are met
  • Liaising with customers and engineers to provide updates on job progress
  • Maintaining accurate records and job documentation in the internal system
About You
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk, scheduling, or coordination role within maintenance, repairs, or facilities management preferred
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with scheduling software or CRM systems
  • A team player with a proactive, customer-focused attitude
