Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for Reach FLT drivers based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The role operates a 4 on 4 off day shift from 06:00 to 18:00, averaging ~42.5 hours per week, with long‑term prospects for permanent positions.

As a Reach Truck Operative you will check stock, control locations, and pick and replenish stock using the reach truck. Duties include picking, packing, dispatching, paperwork, receiving and storing goods, and reporting shortages or damages promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous Reach FLT experience required.
• Applicants with in-house or expired licence may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders from pick lists and allocate stock as required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers safely.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader immediately.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policy and ensure welfare of self and others.
• Operate Reach truck and other mobile plant when required.
