Job summary

A logistics company in Coleshill is seeking a Forklift Truck Driver to safely operate forklifts for moving, loading, and unloading goods. The ideal candidate will have a valid D2 license and experience with reach trucks up to 15 metres. Responsibilities include inventory management and ensuring warehouse safety. Full-time shifts will rotate between 8am-4pm and 4pm-midnight.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift reach Truck License D2 (mandatory) RTITB/ITSSAR/ABA.
• Experience operating reach truck at a height of 15 metres.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload goods.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain records.
• Collect goods from designated areas for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Check forklift equipment for faults.

Job description

PAY - £14 (£1.20ph increase after 10pm)

WORKING HOURS - 8am - 4pm and 4pm - midnight rotating working 5 out of the 7 days. Full time only

Must have Forklift Reach D2 certification and have experience using reach truck at 15 metres

Location - Coleshill B46 - public transport doesn't cover the shift times stated so please check location and working hours before applying

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and Efficient Forklift Operation: Moving, loading, and unloading goods using various forklift types, ensuring the safety of self and others.
• Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory counts, stock takes, and maintaining accurate records.
• Order Picking: Collecting goods from designated areas and preparing them for dispatch.
• Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading goods from trucks and other vehicles.
• Warehouse Organisation: Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Checking forklift equipment for faults and reporting any issues.
• Adherence to Regulations: Following health and safety regulations and forklift operating procedures.
• Communication and Teamwork: Communicating with team members and following instructions.
