This post offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual wishing to further develop their knowledge and skills within mental health services for older people.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of evidence based therapeutic activities and have opportunities to work alongside nursing and occupational therapy staff and carers/families.
Based on Windermere Lodge, you will be joining a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team and have an opportunity to contribute to service quality and developments.
We offer a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role. As an apprentice, you will gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain necessary tools.
Apprenticeships include regular training with a college or other training organisation; around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team alongside a variety of qualified and support staff as well as developing links with external agencies and community resources to provide high standards of care for services users and support for their families.
Be a confident and effective communicator with service users and carers; staff of all professional groups; and with external partner agencies.
