Reablement Support Worker (9156)

Permanent contract | £21,407 to £22,817 per annum (Scale E) | 30 hours per week | Mill Close, Aylsham. Working pattern over two weeks including alternate weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

About the Role

Could you give people their confidence back and support our community? If so, we’d love to hear from you – even if you haven’t considered working in Social Care before.

We work with a reablement ethos, working alongside people in their homes to make a positive difference. We aim to help them regain their previous abilities within 6 weeks following a period of ill health or a change in circumstances.

The vacant post is 30 hours per week, working in Holt, Sheringham and surrounding villages. You will work a range of mornings (either 7.30 am to 2 pm or 8 am to 2.30 pm) and evenings (either 4.30 to 9 pm or 5 to 10 pm) with the hours averaged out over a two‑week rota, enabling planning in advance for a healthy work‑life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals in their homes to regain previous abilities within 6 weeks after ill health or change in circumstances.
  • Work on a rota basis covering mornings and evenings across Holt, Sheringham and surrounding villages.
  • Travel to client homes, using a full driving licence and personal vehicle.
Qualifications and Requirements

  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to easily commute to client homes in North Norfolk.
  • Previous experience not required; full training will be provided.
