We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Reablement Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives, supporting them to regain confidence, maximise independence and achieve what matters most to them.

Our Reablement Team works with adults who have experienced a new illness, injury or change in circumstances and have the potential to improve their functional independence. Through a strengths-based, therapy-led approach, we work alongside individuals to build on their abilities, achieve personal goals and prevent unnecessary reliance on long-term care services.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver goal-focused interventions, undertake functional assessments over time, and use your clinical expertise to help people reach their full potential. Rather than making a one-off decision about future care needs, we support people to maximise their independence before determining what support, if any, is required moving forward.

At the heart of our service is one simple question:

What level of support does this person need after they have had the opportunity to maximise their independence?

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who:

  • Is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Has strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Is passionate about promoting independence and recovery.
  • Can develop creative, person-centred solutions to help individuals achieve their goals.
  • Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Is committed to strengths-based, outcome-focused practice.

If you are passionate about empowering people to achieve greater independence and want to be part of an innovative, forward-thinking reablement service, we'd love to hear from you.
