Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join its Regional Distribution team, ensuring orders are picked and packed and ready for delivery, and coordinating stock to meet delivery timelines.

In this fast-paced role you will receive deliveries, pick and load vans, check returns for resale or warranty, and verify stock against the system. You’ll need accuracy, reliability, and good teamwork to support branches nationwide.

About The Role

They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

As an RDC Warehouse Operative, you will work within the Regional Distribution team supporting stock that is to be delivered to other branches.

Main Duties Include

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working Hours

## (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You

What you’ll need to succeed:

• A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse, or similar environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• A good team player
• Work efficiently with good attention to detail
• Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable
