Job summary

Years is seeking a Raw Material QA Technician to ensure every incoming raw material meets our quality standards before production. You’ll handle intake sampling, testing, specification management and support cold store temperature monitoring across the site.

Qualifications

• Food safety qualification (Level 2 minimum; Level 3 desirable)
• HACCP awareness training
• GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths

Responsibilities

• Sample and test incoming raw materials per testing protocols
• Check intake against specification including visual, docs, and checks
• Create and update intake specifications aligned with supplier data
• Record fridge and cold store temperatures across P1 and P2; escalate deviations
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials; raise holds and NCRs
• Maintain audit-ready intake and testing records
• Liaise with suppliers and technical team on QA queries and COAs
• Support audits with intake QC records and evidence
• Flag recurring supplier quality issues to Technical Manager
