W& A is proud to be partnering with Raven, a rapidly growing global SaaS company, to appoint a Group Financial Controller / Head of Finance who will shape and lead the finance function during a period of international expansion.

This is a full-time position, with hybrid working from a Glasgow city centre office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, qualified accountant looking to progress towards a Finance Director role in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the C‑Suite, the Group Financial Controller will lead all financial operations across the group, driving robust reporting, forecasting and compliance while supporting global growth. The role is hands‑on, strategic and ideal for someone with SaaS or scale‑up experience who enjoys building systems and influencing decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
  • Oversee SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, retention) to guide performance.
  • Lead cash flow management and liquidity planning.
  • Ensure full compliance with GAAP, HMRC and international regulations.
  • Implement financial systems, processes and internal controls.
  • Manage and mentor a team member, working cross‑functionally with senior leaders.
  • Maintain the company’s Data Room and support future investment readiness.
What You’ll Bring
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA).
  • 5+ years’ experience, including 2+ in a leadership or controller role.
  • Background in SaaS, technology or scale‑up environments.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; Xero experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail and adaptability.
